Discussing Assessment Results and Determining Potential Improvements
After student learning is measured and data is compiled, individuals involved in delivering the program should use the data to determine the extent to which satisfactory performance was achieved for the program SLO assessed (refer to the program's assessment plan).
- Consider previous assessment results, if applicable: what change(s) occurred and what the results suggest regarding the effectiveness of the change(s).
- Reflect upon the assessment measures (direct/indirect) and methods (e.g. rubric, rating scale) to evaluate reliability, validity, and absence of bias.
- Draw from the data and interpretations to identify potential ways to improve.
