Assessment Workshop Request for Proposals

UMD faculty and staff are invited to submit proposals to design, deliver, and evaluate workshops for UMD faculty and/or staff audiences on topics related to student learning assessment. Professional development stipends are provided. See the Assessment Workshop RFP for details and the proposal submission form.

Liberal Education Assessment and Program Assessment Reporting

Liberal Education categories for which 2023-24 is the end of the assessment cycle include Social Science, Fine Arts, Sustainability, Theorizing, Race, Power & Justice (NOTE: For Theorizing Race, Power and Justice (TRPJ) courses, the first report will be due Fall 2027 since the category just began fall 2023). Course assessment reports are due Monday, September 9, 2024. Quick links for all categories: Course Report Forms / Completed Course Reports.

Program Assessment Liaisons (PALs) coordinating their program assessment reports can access resources for 2023-24 (fall 2024 reporting) on the Annual Program Assessment Reports webpage. Reports are due Friday, September 20, 2024 through the Campus Assessment Data form.

Campus Assessment provides oversight and support of student learning assessment, development, and review activities for educational experiences, programs, and the institution to ensure quality and to reinforce UMD's commitment to data-informed planning and improvement.
