Faculty may conduct course assessment and report results at any time in the cycle (refer to the Course Report Forms menu item for more information about course reports). Each course is to have at least one set of results to include in its respective category (or categories) as specified below.
The Liberal Education data collection coordinator will compile results for the categories following the campus's 3-year reporting cycle shown below:
2025-26: Logic and Quantitative Reasoning; Humanities; Cultural Diversity in the U.S.; Writing and Information Literacy (WPLOs 2 and 4)
- Faculty conduct assessment and report results: any time Fall 2023 through Summer 2026
- September 14, 2026 is the due date for submitting course results for inclusion in the category reports
- Courses for which assessment reports are not submitted are subject to withdrawal from the LEP
- Liberal Education data coordinator forwards the category reports to the Liberal Education Subcommittee: November 2026
2026-27: Social Sciences; Fine Arts; Theorizing, Race, Power & Justice; Sustainability**, Writing and Information Literacy (WPLO 3)
- Faculty conduct assessment and report results: any time Fall 2024 through Summer 2027
- September 7, 2027 is the due date for submitting course results for inclusion in the category reports
- Courses for which assessment reports are not submitted are subject to withdrawal from the LEP
- Liberal Education data coordinator forwards the category reports to the Liberal Education Subcommittee: November 2027
2027-28: Oral Communication and Languages; Natural Sciences; Global Perspectives; Writing and Information Literacy (WPLO 1)
- Faculty conduct assessment and report results: any time Fall 2025 through Summer 2028
- September 5, 2028 is the due date for submitting course results for inclusion in the category reports
- Courses for which assessment reports are not submitted are subject to withdrawal from the LEP
- Liberal Education data coordinator forwards the completed category reports to the Liberal Education Subcommittee: November 2028
